Get ready for a gravity-defying experience as the Thunderbird Drone Festival returns for its third year on August 25th and 26th of 2023! Oklahoma's first and only drone film/photo festival and drone technology event promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Thunderbird Drone Festival is a drone event for everyone!

The weekend will close with the exciting FPV Drone Races at the 2023 Sky-high Shootout. Watch as goggle-wearing races as they pilot tiny whoop drones through a complicated obstacle course. Cheer on your favorite pilot and see if they have what it takes to be this year's champion.
Sky High Shootout FPV Races
will kick off on August 25th as filmmakers and photographers from all over the world converge in Woodward, Oklahoma, to showcase their stunning drone work across a variety of categories in front of an enthusiastic audience. Hand-selected by a professional jury, including Emmy award-winners, the films and photos featured in the festival will leave you in awe. Category winners will receive awards and will celebrate the evening at the VIP after-party and drone light show!

Thunderbird Drone Festival
will begin August 26th. Attendees will get the chance to attend a wide range of drone seminars, panels, and demos covering everything drone industry. All ages can learn how to fly a drone, check out our FPV drone simulators, and take part in STEM activities to learn about the science of flight.
